The Sharlot Hall Museum located in the small town of Prescott, is an open-air museum facility devoted to educating visitors about local traditions and folklore.

The buildings and structures themselves are historic artifacts as they include the Governor's Mansion, Fort Misery (Arizona's oldest log cabin), and the Iron Turbine Windmill.

The museum's permanent collection features models of animals from the local ecosystem, over 400 Native American baskets, a building with historical modes of transportation from the Old West, and a display of old local photographs.

The Living History program hosts festivals and events where visitors can learn how the people of the Southwest lived centuries ago.
