Lowell Observatory is a not-for-profit astronomical research facility founded by the mathematician Percival Lowell in 1894.
Located in Flagstaff, Arizona, this institution dedicates itself to furthering the study of the solar system while providing education and interesting science exhibits to visitors from the general population.
Patrons can come in and use the observatory's specialized equipment to look at the sun and the stars.
There are both day and nighttime programs, including a deep space tour, telescope viewings, and presentations on the different galactic bodies. History buffs can also enjoy a tour of Percival Lowell's personal artifacts from the 19th century, which are housed in another exhibition hall at the observatory.
