Preah Monivong National Park , also known as Bokor National Park, can be found in the highlands of the Damrei Mountains. The park is one of two ASEAN Heritage Parks in Cambodia and lies 1,000 meters above sea level. There are many aspects of the park for visitors to explore and enjoy, with the most famed being the abandoned Bokor Hill Station, which was part of a 1921 French colonialist settlement. The park is a popular tourist destination due to its rich flora and fauna; other aspects that shouldn’t be missed include the large Lok Yeay Mao statue dedicated to the mythical heroine.
