The Buffalo Ridge Park is an expansive green space in the city, featuring a playground, a softball field, a basketball court, a shaded picnic area, hiking trails, and a popular eighteen-hole disc golf course. The disc golf course offers elevation, blind holes, rugged terrain, and amazing views. The course starts around the restrooms and then proceeds eighteen along the mountain before leading back to the Buffalo Ridge Park parking lot. It’s a common sight to see people with their dogs at the park. Late January or early February are great times to visit to see wildflowers in nice weather.
