Jerome Historical Society Mine Museum is a non-profit museum and gift shop located in downtown Jerome, Arizona. The gift shop and museum were first opened in the beginning of the 1950s. The museum houses items that represent the town of Jerome’s history from past to present. Visitors will see everything from the remains of gambling games in old saloons to vintage miner’s equipment. The mining equipment on display includes hand-forged miners’ candlesticks, carbide lamps, cages, drills, and ore carts. There are also panoramic photos of smelters and miners, hospital equipment, newspapers, tokens, dishes, and milk bottles. The Mine Museum Gift Shop offers a plethora of souvenirs and gifts for visitors to explore and purchase.
