Located at the northern tip of Washoe Lake, the Scripps State Wildlife Management Area is a small wildlife management area and wetland preserve that features shallow ponds and lakes, on which boating can be enjoyed. The reserve is home to a wealth of migratory birds, waterfowl, and mammals, and activities in the park include bird and wildlife watching, jump-shooting, and decoy hunting.
