Located within the Kettle Moraine State Forest, the Whitewater Lake Campground is a primitive camping area consisting of more than sixty beautiful woodland campsites. The campground offers a garbage/recycling station, a sanitary dump station, and vault toilets, however, there are no on-site shower facilities. Shower facilities are available though at the Ottawa Lake and Pinewoods campgrounds about fifteen to twenty miles away, but still within the state forest, for campers who really feel the need for them. The Whitewater Lake Campground is open from Memorial Day in the middle of May through Columbus Day weekend in the middle of October.
