The Catholic Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is a deeply spiritual place which attracts visitors from all over America and beyond. The Shine was built between 2005 and 2008 to celebrate the miraculous appearance of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1531, in what is today Mexico City. The shrine covers about 100 acres of beautifully laid-out gardens, devotional places, a pilgrimage trail with Stations of the Cross, a rosary walk and the lovely Shrine Church.
