The Thomas Shepherd Inn is a classic bed and breakfast that gives you the opportunity to stay in a historic home by the beautiful Potomac River and Shenandoah Valley. The six rooms are all located on the second floor, ensuring additional privacy.

They have triple-sheeted beds with soft-top mattresses as well as wood floors, Oriental rugs, private baths, sitting areas, wireless Internet, monogrammed robes, and chocolates. Many also have electric fireplaces to help set the mood and while most rooms are designed to sleep two people, some can accommodate more.

Guests have access to the various common areas such as the library and the upstairs and back porches.

Guests are also welcome to use the electric kettle, a game table, television, and gas fireplace, and the inn provides snacks and cookies.

The day starts with a full breakfast featuring locally roasted, freshly brewed coffee and breakfast meats, a savory or sweet entry, fruit, and baked goods.
