The Canaan Valley Resort is open year-round and provides opportunities for hiking, skiing, and golf depending on the time of the year. You can always take in the gorgeous views thanks to the mountain’s 3,100-foot base elevation. You can choose to camp, stay in one of the 160 lodge rooms, or in one of the 23 cottages and cabins. Cabins and cottage rooms have fireplaces and full kitchens while lodge rooms and suites have TVs, a coffee pot, a microwave, and a fridge, and some include fireplaces and balconies.

The resort provides guests with the opportunity to golf, hike, bike, geocache, take a chairlift ride, enjoy the Turtle Slide Tube Ride, climb the climbing wall, or use the Eurobunny. Other activities include areas for soccer, volleyball, horseshoes, miniature golf, tennis, ladder golf, and baseball.

There is also an arcade, fitness center, indoor pool, outdoor pool, and gift shop.

Get a relaxing massage at the Spa at Canaan while your children enjoy Cap Canaan.

The Hickory Dining Room serves delicious meals, while the Laurel Lounge has a pub-style menu and full service bar. The Season’s Café, on the other hand, has a lighter menu with healthy and filling options. Quenchers Pub, located in the ski area, offers snacks, sandwiches, and drinks, and the Bear Paw Food Court has cafeteria style dining.
