The Light Horse Inn first opened in the 1780s and was initially known as the Keyes Inn, which served travelers on their way to the Western Frontier. The inn offers a complimentary breakfast and has three private suites with free wireless Internet and cable TV.

Each room is slightly different and possible amenities include a whirlpool tub, ten-foot ceilings, king-sized beds, heart pine floors, a small kitchen, and expansive views.

The cozy sitting room at the inn has a flat screen TV with Wi-Fi and cable, books, and board games.

The inn is within walking distance of numerous local Harpers Ferry attractions such as Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, The Appalachian Trail Conservancy and John Brown's Fort. Every guest receives a large hot breakfast during their stay, and it is served in the Great Room. Guests also have access to a kitchen.
