Situated about half-way up the eastern shore of the Leelanau Peninsula, Suttons Bay is a beautiful lake-side town which offers miles of beaches lapped by azure waters. Surrounded on three sides by Lake Michigan, Suttons Bay is a Mecca for sailing and water-sport enthusiasts. The town is also a good base for touring the many vineyards and wineries of Michigan Wine Country or exploring by bicycle along the scenic Leelanau Trail.
