The Washington State Capitol is the home of the state's government.

It contains the office of the governor as well as chambers for the state legislature and the Washington Governor's Mansion and Supreme Court are also located nearby. Docent-guided public tours of the legislative building are available every day, are provided free of charge, and last about an hour. The tours are first-come, first-served and leave from the tour information desk on the second floor. The group size is limited to 25 visitors.
