The Museum of Pop Culture is a non-profit museum that is dedicated to contemporary popular culture. The museum was founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and was previously known as the Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame.
The Museum of Pop Culture features interactive exhibits, displays, sound sculptures, and a variety of educational resources.
Exhibits cover various aspects of popular culture, including fantasy, horror cinema, video games, costumes, and science fiction literature. Inter-active activities include the opportunity to explore rock and roll by playing real instruments in front of a virtual audience. The museum hosts several events each year, including the Science Fiction and Fantasy Short Film Series each winter.
