Set opposite Riverfront Park in the heart of downtown Spokane, Atticus Coffee & Gifts is an eclectic little store named for the lead character in the famous novel, To Kill a Mockingbird. Founded in 2009 and a town institution ever since, the gift store is a treasure trove for shoppers with an array of whimsical items, cards, home décor, scented candle, and other collectibles The cozy café section has several tables and a pastry case showcasing an array of delectable pastries, croissants, cinnamon buns and French street-style baguette sandwiches from Chaps Coffee Co & Bakery, and the coffee counter serves a variety of espresso-based drinks and an assortment of loose-leaf teas. There is a small outdoor patio for summer sipping, the café has complimentary wireless Internet.
