In 1997, the company started operating with two labels, Pale Ale and Brown Porter. By 2003, they were bottling 10 ales. The beer garden acquired a bandstand, additional seating and outdoor heating. A long list of musicians play live music on several days a week. There are often fundraisers and benefits held at the venue. The Port Townsend Brewing Company also sponsors events such as the Wooden Boat Festival, and the Film and Blues festivals. There is a Dog of the Month award. Kegs, taps, tubs and glasses can be hired and branded merchandise is sold on site.
