Formerly a successful apple farm, Lake Chelan Winery is now known for producing award-winning wines and for having one of the state's largest wine club programs. Complimentary tours of the vineyard and the production facility take place at 2 p.m. every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for anyone who wants to learn more about the winery's history and wine-making process. Personalized wine tastings are also offered free of charge, but the winery's offerings aren't limited to just wine; it also features an outdoor barbecue restaurant and a gourmet cheese shop that sells artisan cheese platters as well as cheese to take home.
