Oxbow Park is one of Seattle's most unique public attractions, located in the city's Georgetown neighborhood.

The park preserves the city's iconic Hat 'n Boots roadside attraction, which was created in 1953 by Seattle artist Lewis Nasmyth in order to serve a Western-themed gas station in the neighborhood. The unique attraction, which showcases a 44-foot cowboy hat and 22-foot cowboy boots, made the gas station the nation's hottest-selling station for a period throughout the mid-2oth century, said to have been visited by celebrities such as Elvis Presley in the 1960s.

Following the station's closure in the late 1980s, citizen activism campaigns were enacted to preserve the roadside sculptures, which were eventually relocated to Oxbow Park. Other park features include a children's playground and community garden.
