It also offers dressing rooms for the bride and groom, a catering kitchen, and modern restrooms. The space can hold up to 300 people, and tables and chairs for up to 200 people will be provided free of charge.

Ceremonies are typically held outside while receptions take place in the barn, which can hold up to 200 people, but the barn can also be used for indoor ceremonies if desired.

Indoor ceremonies can be held in the historic Mount Union Church, while outdoor options include a butterfly garden with a pergola, a meadow dotted with historical buildings, and a spacious lawn that can be tented if desired. 541 Luck Ave Formerly the Jefferson Senior High School, the Jefferson Center is a historic building that has been converted into a magnificent arts venue that regularly hosts world-class musical performances. The center has several event spaces to choose from, with highlights including an elegant atrium with a full-service bar, a large banquet hall with an attached full-service kitchen for caterers, and a dramatic performance hall that can seat more than 800 people. Outside vendors are permitted and alcohol can be served as long as the right permit is obtained. As an added bonus, plenty of parking is available on-site free of charge.

6. Loch Haven Lake Club

Despite being only ten minutes away from downtown Roanoke, the Loch Haven Lake Club is a secluded getaway surrounded by pristine natural beauty. The forest and the lake provide plenty of breathtaking sites perfect for wedding photos, and outdoor ceremonies can be held anywhere on the property, including under one of the two pavilions. A cozy chateau is available for receptions; it can be rented for either one or three days, and it comes equipped with tables and chairs for up to 180 guests. Tents are available for a small fee, and couples are responsible for their own decorations and food.
