2. ArtsRiot
ArtsRiot
is a hip performance venue and art gallery in Burlington's lively South End Arts District, opened to the public in 2013. The eclectic venue is a great choice for young couples looking for an alternative to traditional wedding or reception sites, housed within a former converted industrial-style warehouse. Groups of up to 300 can be accommodated within the venue, with additional space for up to 3,000 available outside with additional planning time and rental fees. Full-service catering and food truck options are offered by the venue's onsite restaurant, helmed by executive chef George Lambertson and serving up creative New American fare. The venue's full-service beverage catering company, Liquid Arts, offers a wide variety of bar options, including local craft beers, custom cocktails, and crushable wines.

3. Basin Harbor
Basin Harbor is a beautiful waterfront resort in Vergennes, overlooking the harbor of the same name on stunning Lake Champlain and providing convenient access to area attractions like Button Bay State Park. The beautiful resort emphasizes personalized service and hospitality for all event rentals, specializing in large and small wedding ceremony and reception rentals for groups up to 300. Unique scenic rental spaces include the resort's main dining room space, Ardelia's, which offers views of the resort's lush landscaping and can be seated for plated dinner receptions. 4. Burlington Elks Lodge
Burlington Elks Lodge is a lovely special event venue operated by the charitable organization of the same name, providing beautiful spaces for budget weddings for up to 240 guests. The completely wheelchair-accessible venue is home to the gorgeous Krakosky Ballroom, which offers a full built-in dance floor, PA and audiovisual systems, and a full-service bar serving up regional craft microbrews. The smaller Moisan-Victor Room accommodates up to 50 guests, great for rehearsal dinner facilities. Outside, a lushly-wooded area makes a great spot for wedding photography during the autumn months, with preferred photography service offered by Carmen George Weddings. Full catered menus are available from award-winning chef Asa Kenner, known for his work at Big Sur's Post Ranch Inn and Monterey's Corkscrew Bistro.

5. Champlain Room and Terrace
Champlain Room and Terrace is the premiere event space of Burlington's Champlain College, originally founded in 1878 to provide undergraduate and graduate higher education in more than 80 subject areas. The beautiful venue offers spectacular views of the surrounding Adirondack Mountains and Lake Champlain, located just minutes from the dining and attractions of the city's downtown district. 9. The Louisa Howard Chapel
The Louisa Howard Chapel is one of Burlington's loveliest historic buildings, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000 and restored to its original 1882 High Gothic Victorian-style architectural splendor. The chapel, which was designed by architect Alfred Benjamin Fisher, was originally known as the Howard Mortuary Chapel and rededicated in honor of restoration funder Hannah Louisa Howard. Today, its cemetery serves as a resting place for Civil War-era citizens and soldiers, while its chapel space is available for private special event rentals, including wedding ceremonies and receptions.
