Just a short ride from the city, I found golden sands, rolling waves, and some of the most delightful seaside meals I’ve ever had. Whether you’re into catching waves or just sipping something cold with your toes in the sand, you’ll find a beach here that speaks to you like it did to me.

• Cascais is where I go to relax. The scenic sands and coastal charm make it an easy favorite—and it’s perfect if you want to mix beach time with a bit of shopping and strolling.
• If you're up for a little adventure, I’ve found hidden coves near Sintra that feel like your own private slice of paradise. Bring snacks and a sense of discovery—you’ll love it.
• I always carve out time to dine beachfront. You’ll find charming cafés where I’ve sat for hours enjoying fresh seafood and watching the waves roll in.
• And when the day winds down? Join me for a sunset stroll along Costa da Caparica. The sky lights up, the breeze cools down, and everything feels just right.
