Review & FAQ:
The Prague Astronomical Clock is a medieval astronomical clock in the country's capital. The clock was installed in 1410 and is the third oldest such clock in the world and the oldest one that is still functioning today. The clock is mounted on the Old Town Hall's southern wall in Prague's Old Town Square. There are three main components of the clock: An astronomical dial, which shows the positions of the sun and the moon and other significant astronomical information, an hourly show of figures of the Apostles and others, including a figure of Death, as well as a calendar dial, which represents the months.
