Review:
Nestled on a small piece of land previously used as the military airport Rakowice-Czyzyny, the Polish Aviation Museum is comprised of an outdoor airstrip, an airplane hangar, and old garage facilities. Within its unique layout, the museum offers visitors a large collection of planes, helicopter, gliders, and aircraft engines. Visitors can walk under the wings of a World War II fighter jet or rest in the shadow of a glider that predated the Wright brothers. With opportunities to climb up and inspect the differences between engines as well as watch modern day trick planes in action, the aviation museum is a great exhibition for the whole family.
