Review:

Phoenix Park is a beautiful urban park in the western part Dublin that lies just north of the River Liffey. Surrounded by an 11 km perimeter wall and spanning over 700 hectares, the park is one of the largest enclosed urban recreational spaces in Europe. Named after the Irish phrase “fionn uisce” meaning “clear water,” the park boasts tree-lined avenues and rolling grasslands, and it has been home to a herd of fallow deer since the 17th century. Phoenix Park has several notable features, including Áras an Uachtaráin, the residence of the President of Ireland, the Dublin Zoo, the Papal Cross, and famous monuments, such as the Wellington Monument and the Phoenix Column.
