Review:
Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo has been researching and protecting shorebirds since 1988 when the observatory opened. BirdLife is entirely self-funded, but that doesn’t stop them from welcoming guests and visitors to take part in migratory bird research. If you choose to visit Broome Bird Conservatory, there are courses offered to teach you how to research and observe shorebirds, tours for those just wanting to check out what BirdLife is doing, and accommodations for those who require it. Courses include accommodation at the observatory headquarters, transportation to and from Broome, and guided instruction on using BBO scopes.
