Review:

Rome is the most popular tourist destination in Italy and the third most visited location in the European Union. Rightly so, as the global city is one of the most prominent art and culture capitals of the world. Roman mythology dates the founding of Rome back to 753 BC and its historic ruins and attractions take visitors back to that era. Sites such as the iconic and ancient Colosseum and the Vatican Museum, which is filled with Renaissance art, have made Rome a must-visit destination. Other attractions that shouldn't be missed include St. Peter's Basilica, the Pantheon, the Sistine Chapel, the Catacombs of Rome, and the cobblestone streets of Trastevere.
