If you’re like me and love the idea of camping—but not so much the sleeping-on-the-ground part—glamping in Texas might be exactly what you need. I’ve found some amazing spots where you can enjoy the outdoors in total comfort. Luxe tents, treehouses, and peaceful nights under the stars? You’re going to love it.
Highlights I Think You’ll Love:
- Collective Hill Country – I stayed in one of their luxury tents and woke up to vineyard views that were honestly breathtaking. If you want a wine-country vibe with a canvas twist, this is your spot.
- El Cosmico – This Marfa gem is funky in the best way. I tried a yurt one night and a trailer the next. You’ll get desert skies, quirky design, and a cool, artsy atmosphere.
- Wahwahtaysee Resort – I loved falling asleep to the sound of the San Marcos River just outside my tent. These safari-style setups are both peaceful and posh—you’ll feel completely tucked away.
- Cypress Valley – Ever dreamed of sleeping in a treehouse? I did it here, surrounded by ancient cypress trees. It’s magical, especially with the fireflies lighting up the night.
- Sinya on Lone Man Creek – This one felt like a romantic escape. I soaked in the tub, watched the creek roll by, and forgot what stress even feels like. You should absolutely add it to your list.
