Along with its four flagship beers, the Fanatic Brewing Company produces several one-offs and seasonal beers throughout the year.
The founder of the brewery, Marty Velas, has been brewing beer since before it was cool. Originally student in engineering, Velas fell in love with Pilsner beer during a trip in Europe. It was a beer mostly unheard of at the time in America. More than forty years later, the brewery now makes around three thousand barrels each year of beer. The four flagship beers are the Fanatic Blacks, the Fanatic Pale Ale, the Tennessee Red, and the Tennessee Blonde.
