Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:

Balmorhea State Park is a charming 46-acre state park located along Reeves County's San Solomon Springs, near the city of Balmorhea. The delightful park, which is overseen by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, is open to the public year-round and is home to the world's largest spring-fed swimming pool. More than 28 million gallons of water flow throughout the pool each day, supplied by the springs and creating a 25-foot-deep swimming area. Couples can enjoy delightful swimming experiences throughout the year in waters that stay at a consistent 72 to 76 degrees Fahrenheit thanks to the springs' natural heat. Snorkeling and scuba diving experiences are also offered. Overnight stay is offered at the San Solomon Springs Courts retro-style lodge, constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps, or at more than two dozen overnight campsites.
