Named in honor of President Abraham Lincoln, Lincoln Woods State Park is a 627-acre public recreation area located around Olney Pond in the town of Lincoln.
One of Blackstone Valley's great treasures, the park is a short ride from Cumberland, Pawtucket, and Providence, and is a popular getaway for north-eastern Rhode Islanders.
Visitors to the park can enjoy a variety of water-based activities such as trout fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and swimming at the freshwater beach, as well as camping, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking, and horseback riding.
The park is also known for its giant glacial boulders and being a top spot for bouldering.
