Fort Getty Park is a 41-acre park and campground in the town of Jamestown on Conanicut Island in Narragansett Bay that was once a military fort from 1900 through World War II.
Today, the campsite boasts old fortifications from its days a fortress and offers sites for RVs, trailers, and tents with full water and electrical hook-ups, cable television, picnic tables, and fire pits.
Amenities at the campground include restrooms with flushing toilets, showers, and drinking water, laundry services, a dump station, complimentary high-speed wireless Internet, a public boat ramp and a dock, and a rocky beach. Activities in the area include hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and boating.
