Encompassing 91 acres on Point Judith in the town of Narragansett, Fishermen's Memorial State Park and Campground is a public recreation area that occupies a portion of the former Fort Nathaniel Greene, a military citadel named after Revolutionary War general and Rhode Island native General Nathaniel Greene.
Fishermen's State Park Campground exudes a charming 'seaside village' atmosphere with grassy campsites for RVs, tents, and trailers, tree-lined paths, and an array of activities for the whole family.
Spacious RV sites have full water and 30/50-amp electrical hook-ups, cable television, picnic tables, and fire pits, and amenities at the campground include restrooms with flushing toilets, showers, and drinking water, laundry services, dump stations, complimentary high-speed wireless Internet, basketball and tennis courts. Fishermen's Memorial State Park and Campground is located a mile from Block Island Ferry Dock and a short drive from Newport.
