Review:

Mackinac Island is a charming resort island well known for its colonial and Victorian era vibe. It’s located on the Straits of Mackinac, which connect two of the Great Lakes, Huron and Michigan. Grand Mackinac is the prime place to stay if you’d like to visit the island. It’s a posh resort occupying a summer “palace” from the 1880s. Grand Hotel Mackinac Island has a large front porch, which is thought to be the world’s longest, and is perfect for looking out over the Straits of Mackinac and relaxing. The rooms are elegant and include modern amenities. There is a pool, two hot tubs, several restaurants, and a half-mile trail for jogging. The nearby Woodlands Activity Center offers mini golf, lawn games, and pickleball courts.
