Tionesta Recreation Area Campground is located within the Tionesta Lake region, known throughout the Eastern United States as one of Pennsylvania's top big-game hunting regions. The lake, which is located within Forest County, winds through northwestern Pennsylvania's rugged hill country and meanders into the beautiful Allegheny National Forest. Area visitors can enjoy excellent opportunities for fishing, watersports, boating, hiking, and hunting throughout the year on the lake's banks. A public-access boat ramp is offered for visitor use, along with a full-service marina offering watersport equipment rentals. The lovely campground offers 125 full hookup campsites, which offer access to modern restrooms and showers.
