The McCredie Hot Springs were at one time the site of a resort during the early twentieth century, but are now a roadside primitive hot spring. Spanning both sides of the Salt Creek, these hot springs offer an array of spots for a relaxing soak. The day-use only, clothing-optional hot springs contain water of temperatures up to 130 degrees near their source. There’s cold running water of the creek nearby, however, mixed with the soaking spots to provide visitors with more comfortable temperatures as well. The McCredie Hot Springs are moderately popular and can get full during the weekends.
