Rollin Soles, a vintner pioneer, founded the Argyle Winery in 1987 with an idea that the Willamette Valley’s cool climate was ideal for the production of sparkling wines. The wines produced at Argyle now include sparkling wines, Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, and have received acclaim for their uncommon ageability, vineyard-driven character, and elegance. The Argyle Winery offers leisurely, seated wine tastings in its gorgeous Tasting House, as well as on the patio or outdoor porch. Visitors are recommended to allow forty-five to sixty minutes for tastings and there are three regular flights to choose from, along with special flights.
