Bear Creek Park is a public recreation park and reserve centered around Bear Creek, which forms part of the Skunk River Greenbelt. The park features an array of amenities, including a skate park, a BMX track, several hiking and mountain biking trails, an outdoor amphitheater, and a covered pavilion for hosting concerts and other community events, and several sporting facilities. Three acres of the park are a dedicated wildlife refuge and are home to a wealth of small animals and birds, and seasonal, controlled hunting with non-toxic ammunition is allowed on 113 acres of the park. The park is open year-round, however does not have picnic tables or grills.
