Red Lily Vineyards, situated in the Applegate Valley AVA, is a family-owned and operated small winery with a commitment to one goal: to produce the finest possible Spanish-inspired wines. The owners fell in love Spanish wines many years ago, especially with tempranillo and its earthy, brooding character, and chose to make the wine the focus for their vineyard and winery. The vineyard is named primarily for the Bolander’s Lily, which is a rare red lily species found within the nearby Siskiyou Mountains. It has a second, more special meaning, however, as the owners’ daughter is named Lily.
