The Montinore Estate was founded in 1982 and is the country’s largest producer certified estate wines produced from Biodynamic® grapes. The two-hundred-acre CCOF-Certified Organic and Demeter-Certified Biodynamic® vineyard, like the majority of other wineries in Oregon, is located within the Willamette Valley in the state’s Coastal Range foothills. The Montinore Estate focuses on crafting interesting Italian varietals, cool climate whites, and superior Pinot Noirs. The Tasting Room is open daily from 11:00am until 5:00pm, but is closed on major holidays, and offers wine tasting consisting of usually six different wines. A tasting fee is waived with a minimum purchase.
