South Chagrin Reservation is an expansive reservation in Cleveland's Moreland Hills, Bentleyville, and Solon suburbs, located along the banks of the Chagrin River, a designated National Scenic River. The park is home to the historic Look About Lodge, a 1938 log cabin constructed by the Cleveland Natural Science Club, which offers year-round educational programming for park visitors of all ages. Rugged nature trails cross through the park's sandstone ledges, ravines, coldwater creek beds, and hemlock forest areas. Visitors can observe the henry Church Rock sandstone boulder sculpture carving, created in 1885, or fish and picnic around the banks of the beautiful Shadow Lake. Polo Field also hosts a variety of dog and horse shows and events throughout the summer months.
