The renowned Barrow Gallery has been providing a visual feast for art lovers since it first opened its doors in 1900. The gallery is home to a wonderful collection of more than 400 works of art created by John. D. Barrow in the 19th century. The paintings are considered to be in the second-generation Hudson School Style, offering a timeless tribute to nature and the world around us. Many of the works were influenced by the beauty of the scenic Finger Lakes region and reflect the artist’s love of his home town of Skaneateles. The gallery is open to the public from May to December each year, on Thursdays to Sundays from 1pm to 4pm.
