The Schenectady County Historical Society Museum is located in the middle of the historic Stockade District of Schenectady, New York, which is noted as the “highest concentration of historic period homes in the country” by the National Park Service. Visitors can stop by the museum to join a walking tour of this historic district and beyond, explore several different interactive exhibits highlighting the local stories and historic sites of the city, listen to renowned speakers, and more.
