The Central Park Rose Garden offers guests an opportunity to pass by more than three hundred varieties of roses and around four thousand bushes, which include hybrid tea roses featured in a variety of hues, floribunda, shrub, and grandiflora. This rose garden in Schenectady’s Central Park is one of eight All-American Rose Selection-accredited “public rose gardens” in the state of New York. At the heart of the Central Park Rose Garden is a large fountain with a flower bed of perennials surrounding it, providing a peaceful place for visitors to stop for a bit and enjoy being in nature.
