Named after a fashion term used during the Japanese jazz age, Hi-Collar is an 11-seat coffeehouse that serves high-end coffee and East-meets-West fare. The stylish and sophisticated Japanese-inspired café serves siphon brews made with Counter Culture and Porto Rico coffee blends, along with Asian food such as katsu pork sandwiches and rice-stuffed omelets called omurice during the day. When the sun goes down, the café transforms into a hip spot serving Far East beers such as Echigo Koshihikari and Yona Yona, along with sake cocktails and light bites.
