The East Village’s Coffee Project NY is an independently-owned coffee shop that takes coffee to a new level. Established by Chi Sum Ngai and her partner Kaleena Teoh in 2015, the 3,725 square-foot Coffee Project NY features New York State’s only Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Premier Training Campus, which offers certified classes to coffee industry professionals wanting to further their education and advance career opportunities. The café serves innovative coffee drinks such as delicious pour overs and deconstructed lattes, Nitro Coffee, and Project One, which comes with a glass of sparkling water and a little waffle cookie.
