Lake Durant State Campground is located along the eastern shores of beautiful 327-acre Lake Durant, offering unparalleled panoramic views of the Central Adirondacks and nearby Blue Mountain. The campground is a popular year-round destination for recreational activities like canoeing, boating, and kayaking, offering rentals and public-access boat launches to explore the lake's waters. Anglers can catch smallmouth bass, tigermuskey, yellow perch, brown bullheads, and sunfish on the park's ADA-accessible fishing pier, while hikers can explore the adjacent 133-mile Northville-Placid Trail and its natural wonders. A 65-site tent and trailer campground offers modern flush toilets, hot showers, a dump station, a camp store, and day-use picnic sites with fireplaces.
