Tucked away in the hamlet of Big Indian, Peekamoose Restaurant is a mountain lodge-style restaurant with rustic décor that offers a cozy, intimate dining experience. Boasting both indoor seating in the elegant dining room and outdoor seating on the streamside deck during the summer months, the restaurant serves a seasonal menu of farm-to-table fare. Signature dishes include Housemade Chitarra Bolognese, Pan-Roasted Beaverkill Hatchery Rainbow Trout, Oven-Roasted Snowdance Farm Chicken, Wood-Grilled Sirloin Steak, and Roast Meyer Farm Rabbit. The cuisine is accompanied by a fine selection of global wines, craft beers on tap and by the bottle, and handcrafted cocktails. Peekamoose Restaurant is open for dinner only, Thursday through Monday and the Tap Room and Lounge is open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
