Miss Lucy's Kitchen is a rustic farm-to-table café in Saugerties that serves locally sourced American fare in country-comfort surroundings. Named for chef-owners Marc Propper and Michelle Silver six-year-old daughter, the restaurant has a charming French-inspired ambiance with vintage aprons hug across the storefront windows, French farmhouse dressers filled with antique jugs, and a beautifully distressed farm table. The eatery serves a farm-driven menu with dishes like heirloom-tomato gazpacho, grilled Gulf shrimp salad with feta, mint and cherry tomatoes, pan-roasted softshell crab, homemade fettuccine with local sausage, and deep-fried wonton burrito. Dark-crusted rustic homemade bread with butter is the perfect way to start a meal, while desserts include roasted-lemon ice cream, cherry almond tortoni, and velvety blackcurrant sorbet. Miss Lucy's Kitchen is open for lunch and dinner, Wednesday through Sunday.
