Rockaway Beach and Boardwalk is the United States' largest urban beach and boardwalk, spanning 5.5 miles along the city's Atlantic Ocean coastline. The 170-acre beach is the only legal surfing beach in New York City, spanning between Queens' 67-69 and 87-92 Streets.
