Southwick Beach is located in the Thousand Islands region, adjacent to the Lakeview Wildlife Management Area on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario. Southwick Beach State Park welcomes day-trippers and campers to come and enjoy a long stretch of sandy beach, ideal for swimming, soaking up the sun, surfing, wind-surfing and paddling. The campground is close to the beach and offers shady sites, some of which have sea views (20 sites have electric hook-up). All sites have picnic tables and grills. Other park amenities include a children’s playground, various sports fields, a picnic pavilion, nature trail and hiking and cross-country skiing trails.
